… we will be going to Shepshed Watermill this Sunday afternoon [Sun 19th June].

We can either walk from here (scenic route is about 3.5 miles, direct route about 1.75 miles), cycle or you can drive directly there.

If walking the scenic route we would want to leave at about 1.15 after an early lunch to get there for 2.30 ish. The shorter walk and cycling would of course take less time. If you are going direct we’ll aim to get there for 2.30 – 3 ish and can see you there. It is open til 4.30.

It is on the Hathern Road, just on the northern edge of Shepshed. I can give more details if required. You are welcome to come back to ours for drinks and supper, but I will need to know numbers for this.

So who is interested? Who would like to come here first and walk (or cycle), and who is interested in coming back for some grub!
